Meet the Reesor’s
He's Curtis. I’m Amber. Together, we formed this little family that dwells here in this little house. We believe that the sweetest parts of life exist in the little things - a homemade pizza on Thursday night, learning a new DIY skill, celebrating silly holidays, and laughing until our bellies hurt. And most of those little things happen within the comforting walls of our little house. We started this blog to document our family as we grow and cherish the home we share and the memories that we make within it.
The Little Reesor House
Since the cold January night back in 2015 when we drove home from our wedding reception, we have lived together in a series of adorable little homes. Our first home was quaint and cold, with a single gas stove in the living room that heated the entire house. We spent many evenings cuddled in front of that stove with our new kitten, Sutchi, and loved the memories we made in that #littlehouse throughout our first year of marriage.
Our second home was also quaint, but had big windows with deep ledges, a retro kitchen, and corn fields in every direction. The #littlefarmhouse became an oasis for us. It was small and without any doors to separate rooms, but we spent weekend afternoons puttering around on outdoor projects and evenings enjoying walks through the fields with homemade ice cream cones. It was the perfect place for our little family, including our newest kitten, Junie, to call our home.
When we learned of the impending arrival of our newest family member, we knew that the little home on the farm could no longer serve us. With the upcoming arrival of our daughter, we sought to purchase our first home in town, with the hope that we could grow into it as we continued to grow our family. We purchased the #littlereesorhouse in March of 2019, which is where we continue to make many more memories together. In fact, we may even have enough space to get another cat.
